| I decided to produce this page after seeing some wonderful photographs of hot air balloons on a friends PC. Balloons have always provided a certain fascination for me, I always watch them when they drift overhead. I have decided to add pictures of unusual balloons to this page ('normal' balloons are very nice, but you can see them anywhere can't you?). |

The only 'normal' balloon to appear on this page is the Breitling Orbiter. This balloon completed the 'round-the-world' trip that people had been trying for so long. It did, of course, have an Englishman on board. This was an English-Swiss project. |
